Getting to know us

With over 35 years CIPD qualified HR experience, both nationally and internationally, we can support a wide range of sectors. We will always take a practical approach to people management with the aim to improve processes for your business and its employees.

What will we do for you?

Working with you to understand your business, we will be your Human Resources department, helping and advising you on all your people related issues. This will cover employment legislation, hiring, discipline and grievance, dismissals, absence management, plus a whole lot more.

We will take away the task of getting to grips with new legislation and we will analyse and apply this to your business.

Why work with us?

With an open and honest approach, we will give you the personable element of Human Resources without the overhead within your company.

We will do monthly check ins, either on teams, or face to face and will have a quarterly visit with updates and to ensure your HR service is progressing as expected. If required, we can also be an impartial representative of your business in mediation, disciplinary or grievance processes.

We will always take a practical approach to people management with the aim to improve processes for your business and its employees.

Our mission

This is very simple, its to make HR and People Management easier for you, and in the process add value to your business.

  • What is Human Resources (HR)?

Human Resources is the function responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, managing, and supporting employees. HR also ensures that a company complies with employment laws and fosters a healthy, productive workplace culture. (an odd question, you may think, but one that is asked of HR professionals so often).

  • Why is HR important in a company?

It is important because it protects the company from legal and reputational risks, supports employee wellbeing and satisfaction, helps attract and retain talent.

HR also aligns people strategy with business goals and with the aim of promoting a positive, inclusive workplace.

  • What is Retained HR support?

Retained HR support is an ongoing, outsourced human resource service agreement where you pay a fixed monthly or annual fee for HR consultancy for continuous access to expert HR support and advice.
